Product highlights
Crafted with precision, each plier in the Chrome-Vanadium Locking Pliers Set boasts drop-forged CR-V steel jaws, guaranteeing superior strength and longevity. This advanced material selection ensures that the jaws can withstand immense pressure without deforming, providing a stronger clamping and biting force than standard pliers. The non-slip design of the jaws makes them ideal for universal jobs, securely gripping various shapes and materials, including pipes, nuts, and bolts, without stripping or slipping. The set includes five distinct sizes, each tailored for specific applications. For instance, the curved jaw locking pliers, available in 25 cm, 18 cm, and 13 cm sizes, offer maximum jaw openings of 1-0.3 cm, 1.9 cm, and 1.6 cm respectively, making them perfect for gripping round, flat, square, or hexagonal objects. The long nose locking pliers are designed for reaching into tight spaces, while the straight jaw pliers provide a firm grip on flat surfaces. Each plier features an adjustable screw that allows for precise jaw opening and clamping pressure, ensuring a custom fit for every task. The quick-release lever mechanism further enhances user convenience, enabling swift and effortless disengagement. The robust construction ensures these pliers will be a reliable part of your toolkit for years to come.

How to use & care
To maximize the lifespan and performance of your Chrome-Vanadium Locking Pliers Set, proper usage and maintenance are crucial. When using the pliers, select the appropriate size for the task at hand. Adjust the screw at the handle base to set the desired jaw opening and clamping pressure. Once positioned, squeeze the handles together until the locking mechanism engages, securing your workpiece firmly. To release, simply push the quick-release lever. Always ensure the jaws are clean and free from debris before use to maintain optimal grip. After each use, wipe down the pliers with a clean cloth to remove any dirt, grease, or moisture. For long-term storage, apply a light coat of rust-inhibiting oil to the metal parts, especially the jaws and pivot points, to prevent corrosion. Store the set in a dry environment, ideally in a toolbox or tool roll, to protect them from impact and moisture. Avoid using the pliers as a hammer or for prying tasks beyond their intended design, as this can damage the jaws or the locking mechanism. Regular inspection for wear and tear, particularly on the jaw teeth and the locking mechanism, will help ensure continued safe and effective operation.

The pliers in this set are primarily constructed from high-quality Chrome-Vanadium (CR-V) steel, especially the jaws, which are drop-forged for enhanced strength and durability. This material choice ensures excellent resistance to wear, corrosion, and deformation, providing a long-lasting and reliable tool.
How many pliers are included in this Chrome-Vanadium Locking Pliers Set?

Yes, absolutely. The drop-forged CR-V steel jaws are designed to provide stronger clamping and biting force, making them suitable for heavy-duty applications. They can securely grip various materials without deforming, making them ideal for mechanics, plumbers, and DIY enthusiasts tackling demanding projects.
What is the benefit of the quick-release lever on these pliers?
The quick-release lever significantly enhances user convenience. It allows for fast and effortless disengagement of the pliers from the workpiece, saving time and reducing effort, especially when working on multiple items or needing to reposition quickly. This feature adds to the overall efficiency of the tool.
How do I adjust the clamping pressure of the Chrome-Vanadium Locking Pliers Set?
The clamping pressure is adjusted using the screw located at the base of the handle.
